Thursday July 17, 2003: Well this morning we started working for Dan again. This is only a temporary situation though. Vegor and I spent most of the day setting up a four computer network in the family room. I also cut out pictures that were pasted onto poster board to scan onto the computer. Vegor worked mostly on the DeBeikes website which can be found at www.debeikesfamily.com. Later in the day we had Pizza for dinner from Papa Johns while Dan, Margie, Kirsten and Mike went out to eat at Outback. I then went to pick Sean up from football practice and then Vegor and I went to the gym. I ran and did squats and lunges. After the gym we came home and just chilled.

Wednesday July 16, 2003:It is Wednesday, although all the days seem the same when you do the same thing day in and day out. Today I slept in until about 11:30 and let me tell ya, it was nice. I then went to the gym and worked out. It was a good workout except I did not eat anything all day and at 2:00 I started to shake and started to feel really sick. I then came home and showered. For dinner we had spaghetti. It was really good. I tried all afternoon and evening to get one of the DeBeikes’ computers to work but I never got it working. Later at night we started to watch National Security, but it was pretty gay so we watched Triple X instead. I know, I know, Triple X is a stupid movie as well, but compared to National Security it seemed pretty good.

Tuesday July 15, 2003:Well it is the 15th and I cannot believe that it is the middle of the month already. Today I slept until noon and then I went to the beach with all of the DeBeikes. It was fun times. Mike and I did some awesome boogie boarding. After the beach we came home and had some Dodger Dogs and watched the All-Star game. I did not watch too much of it because I kept playing this Lemonaid Tycoon game. It was pretty fun. We then watched this movie called Drumline. It was quite possibly the stupidist movie I have ever seen.

Monday July 14, 2003:It is the beginning of another week and boy oh boy what a day. This morning when we got into the office there was glass all over the floor. Someone had thrown a large rock through our office window. We looked around to see if anything was stolen and we did not notice anything at first. About 15 minutes later I noticed that the bag I keep my laptop in was upside down. I then looked around for my laptop which I normally keep on one of the desks but could not find it. Sure enough, I was robbed, someone stole my laptop. So we went through the normal procedure of calling the police and whatnot. Then later in the day Dan told us how things were going with business and it was not good. Needless to say, by the end of the conversation, both Vegor and I were out of jobs. I am not upset at all, I feel really lucky to have such a sweet deal for so long. So we will be looking for jobs as soon as we can. After work we had taco salad. I then went for a drive. I then came back to the house and watched the Buddy Holly story.

Sunday July 13, 2003: It is Sunday and as a result not a lot happened. We went to church and Vegor spoke. He did a pretty good job. Dan, Margie, Brooke and Sean DeBeikes all came to support Vegor. After sacrement meeting Chris, Vegor and I wanted to see where the Thousand Oaks ward met so we went to three different church buildings until we found it. Unfortunatly, by the time we found it, it was already over. Chris and I are planning on going there next week. For dinner we had Halibut and Salmon. It was good times. Mike and Kirsten made it and it was great. After dinner I started reading the 5th Harry Potter book (The Order of the Pheonix). I cannot say too much but what I can say is that so far it has nothing to do with Arizona.

Saturday July 12, 2003: Well it is Saturday and we were able to sleep in. When we got up we helped the DeBeikes’ move in all of their stuff from their trip up at Lake Nacimiento. When we got finished, Vegor and I decided to go hit the beach. We went to Zuma beach and it was pretty fun. It was nice out and there were a ton of people there. We were only there for a bit when we got hungry, so we then went to Jack in the Box for some lunch. We then went to Danny’s old apartment and swam for a bit. We came home and the DeBeikes’ all took off to go so The Pirates or the Caribbean. Vegor, Sean and I went to the mall so Sean could buy some shoes. While we were there, I sat in this awesome massage chair. We then went to BJ’s for dinner. I got the sourdough cheeseburger. It was really good. That was about it for us.

Friday July 11, 2003:Hurray!!! It is Friday. Today we continued to get yelled at by some of the clients at work. It wa quite an experience. For lunch Vegor and I went to El Pollo Loco but vowed never to go out to eat for the rest of the summer (We will see how long that will last). After lunch I found out that I got accepted to BYU’s business school. I am so stoked. So I called my Mom and family. After work we came home and chilled. Chris, Sean and Brooke then showed up and we all went to Pirates of the Caribbean with Mike, Kirsten and one of Brooke’s friends Katie. It was an ok movie. Don’t get me wrong, I liked it but I was expecting something spectacular. I recommend it to everyone.

Thursday July 10, 2003:Well the crap has hit the fan at work. The company that does the payroll for the companies we insure is not delivering what they promised. Without going into much detail, all of our clients are ticked off at us and we did nothing wrong. So all of them are calling us and yelling at us. It will be interesting to see what Dan decides to do about all of this. After work today I went to the gym. It was the first in a long time. I have taken some serious steps backwards since then. I could not even come close to my normal work out. After work we hung out with Mike and Kirsten. Some of Danny’s friends from the T.O. Ward came by and chatted for a bit. They want Danny to go to a dance on the 25th. Later in the evening Vegor and I took Danny’s Porsche to Quiznos. It was good eats but a little too much. We then watched TV and that was about it. Tomorrow I should find out if I got accepted to BYU’s business school or not. In fact I should find out at 2pm exactly. I am a bit anxious (not nervous) because this will define me for the rest of my life. I will keep you posted with what is happening.

Wednesday July 9, 2003:Well it is back to the grindstone. Today we went back to work and it feels like it has been forever since we have done anything productive here. Today Danny came into our office because the Woodland Hills office is no more. For lunch we went to Rubios and had some fantastic fish tacos. They were really good. After work we went to Macaroni Grill and I got the Pasta Milano (my new favorite). I then came home and got ready for my interview with Bishop Doolin. He is a really cool guy. I then spent the rest of the night watching Family Guy and the George Lopez show.

Tuesday July 8, 2003: Well the vacation of all vacations is now over. This morning we headed back to Southern California. Lake Nacimiento will be sorely missed, but our memories will live forever. We first stopped in at Carls Jr. to eat lunch. It was good times. We then headed back to Thousand Oaks and about 4 hours later we got there. When we got there we had no house key so we tried to break into the house. We called a locksmith and tried to break into some other windows but it was no dice. The mailman saw us trying to break into the house and knew that the DeBeikes were supposed to be on vacation until this coming Friday. He thought something was amiss so he called the fuzz. The Ventura County Sheriff came rolling up in the driveway and we had to prove to him that we lived at the house. He was cool about it. It was cool to have someone call the cops when they thought someone was breaking in, it is cool everyone is looking out for each other. We then drove Jesse off to LAX for his flight off to Denver. Alicia Lee called me while we were waiting for Danny to drop Jesse off at the terminal. Some of Alicia’s friends are planning this totally awesome trip to Lake Powell at the beginning of September. It should be good times. After Danny dropped Jesse off we were off to Ruth Chris steakhouse in Beverly Hills. The problem is that they have a dress code. So we went to Ross to buy some business casual clothes. We then ate dinner. Ruth Chris was really expensive and it was like eating with the elite of the elite in Beverly Hills. It was very posh. Our dinner was provided by the good folks at Porsche (good thing because our total bill came to $217.00) While we were there Sisqo (Mr. Let me see your thong) came in to eat dinner as well. It was crazy. We then came home and tried to digest the hunks of beef we had just consumed.

Monday July 7, 2003: It is Monday and our last full day on this wonderful vacation. Today was a great day. We woke up and had some of Dan’s fantastic French toast. We then went out on the lake. Everyone that we knew up here had a beach out on the lake and we all just chilled there. They had an inflatable trampoline that floated out in the lake and we went tubing and rode jet skis. The best was later in the day when we went cliff jumping. It was so much fun. There were these cliffs about 30 feet and 45 feet up. It was so far up to jump off of but it was so much fun. We then came home and we showered and changed. We then had some shrimp, scallops, and steak. It was really good. We then went over to Steve Spikers house and watched evolution.

Sunday July 6, 2003: Well it is Sunday and today we went this family’s house down the street and had a sacrament meeting. There was about fifty people there and it was pretty cool. Danny and I blessed the bread and then Steve Spiker spoke. After the meeting, we had breakfast. We then came back to our place and I was not feeling too well. Everyone else went to the beach while I just chilled here at the pad. When they came back we had ribs for dinner. They were really good. We then went over to the Spikers again and watched Wayne’s World.

Saturday July 5, 2003: Well we were able to sleep in until the afternoon. When we got up Dan was out on the boat with the boys going wakeboarding and what not. Breakfast was ready to be made but we thought Dan wanted to make some of his famous French toast. However, when Dan left he told Vegor if we wanted to start making breakfast that would be great, of course Vegor did not tell us this. When Dan came back and saw us sitting around and no breakfast started, he was mad. He called Danny and I lazy and what not and it ticked Danny off something fierce. Danny ended up going for a walk and I met up with him later. There was talk about us leaving this trip early but we decided to stick it out. We went out on the boat and I went tubing. It was so much fun. Chris almost killed Danny and me. I was flying so high up in the air on a turn and smacked hard on my back in the water. It really hurt, but it was really fun. Later at night we had spaghetti and meatballs. We then went over to the Spikers house. Steve and Richard have houses next to each other but to walk from one to another is quite an adventure. Danny and I got thorns stuck in us left and right. We chilled at their house for the rest of the evening.

Friday July 4, 2003: Happy 4th of July. Late last night the rest of the DeBeikes’ came to the house and unloaded the rest of the stuff. Today we spent the most of the day down at the lake playing in the water and some of the boys wakeboarding and what not. For Dinner we had a barbeque. Dan cooked up some fantastic bratwursts. Because we are in a “no fireworks zone” we were unable to see any spectacular fireworks.

Thursday July 3, 2003: No update yesterday but it was pretty uneventful anyway. This morning we started packing for our vacation at Lake Nacimiento. We loaded up the boat and the expedition and then we were off. We ended up leaving at about 1pm and then we went to In-N-Out. We then drove up north. I slept most of the way so it made the trip a little more bearable. After we got up to the lake we unloaded everything. The house we are staying at has a fantastic view and is very nice. It has its own dock down at the lake. After we unloaded everything, we went into Paso Robles and got some dinner. We went to this Barbeque place that Glenn recommended. They had this mechanical bull that we all rode. It was fun, but it gave me some bumps and bruises. The food we had was not that good at all. Danny and Sean ended up gong to Subway after they got their food and thought it sucked. We then came back to the house and watched Bottle Rocket.

Tuesday July 1, 2003:Well it is a new month. I cannot believe how fast June has flown by. Yesterday was the deadline for the Marriott Business School at BYU so I should find out in a few weeks if I got accepted. Today I was pretty sore and I could not figure out why. I guess it was from all of the running from capture the flag yesterday. For lunch we went to the California Pizza Kitchen. I had this Jumbolia that was fantastic. We then went to the Woodland hills office to help pack some more. That did not take too long so we came back to the Agoura Hills office and tried to fight back sleepiness. Let me tell you, that is no easy task. After work we had some of Margie’s famous tacos. They were really good. Danny and I then went to his old apartment and swam for a bit. The water was really warm. I then went running for a bit and that was about it for me.

Monday June 30, 2003:Well it was my first Monday back to work since my vacation and it was not as bad as I thought it would be. This morning I got a call from Dan saying that they are moving out of the Woodland Hills office. So we went up to that office for lunch and Dan treated us to some fantastic PF Chang’s. It was some serious good grub. After lunch we went to to Fry’s (it is this electronic store) and Danny was looking at some big screen TV’s. We then went to Office Depot to pick up some boxes and then we headed back to the Woodland Hills office. We spent the rest of the afternoon packing everything into boxes and what not. After work we did not go to the gym because we wanted to go to family home evening. But first we had dinner. We had Barbeque chicken and some corn on the cob. It was great stuff. For FHE we played capture the flag with water balloons and it was good times. Heather Gibbs completely drenched me with one of the buckets of water used to hold the water balloons. So I grabbed her and Josh and Danny picked up a water cooler and drenched her back. Vengeance is sweet. That was about it.

Sunday June 29, 2003: We were able to sleep in for as long as we wanted. Last night my car started acting sort of funny so this morning I checked my radiator and I was almost out of water. So I went to the store and bought some anti-freeze and filled it up. I then met with Danny and Vegor at IHOP and had some breakfast. It was good stuff. We then went back to the house and we went swimming in the back yard, I got a little too much sun. We goofed around for the rest of the day and then we headed back home. When we got back, we had some fantastic MahiMahi that Dan cooked. We then watched some TV and that is about it. I am feeling much better now.

Saturday June 28, 2003: I feel a little better this morning. I woke up pretty early and watched some TV. I then called Danny and asked him if he still wanted to hang out today in Palm Springs. He said that he would so Vegor and I drove out to Palm Springs. I have never been there before and it is a barren wasteland that is very hot. It is kind of cool because Palm Springs is like an Oasis (not the band). We rolled into town and then we got something to eat. I got this Hamburger that was pretty good. After lunch I came home and took a nap (or I tried to take a nap….no success) while Vegor and Danny went out. We then got back together and went to Tijuana. It was good times. Danny took us to this hole in the wall café that looked like I would contract seventeen different diseases just from breathing the air. But the tacos we had were pretty fantastic, and the Coke was out of this world. We then went around shopping. I bought a wallet and some sunglasses. Vegor got these two sweet Rolex knock offs. They were nice. We then hopped back into the car and head back to Palm Springs to stay the night. I was so tired on the way back; I almost fell asleep like fifty seven times. However, we made it back safely and I went to bed.

Friday June 27, 2003: Boy am I sick. I did not sleep well at all last night. I kept having these crazy whacked out dreams. I did manage to pull myself out of bed and go to work though. I found out that I have heat-stroke and it does not feel good at all. I went to work by myself because Vegor went to drop one of Dan’s jet skis off to get fixed. He came in to work a bit later. For lunch we went to Quiznos so I could get some soup. I then felt worse so Vegor just took me home. I just relaxed and slept for the rest of the afternoon. We were going to go to Palm Springs tonight, but I am just too sick. Danny is staying there because he had an appointment out there today and he may come back here tomorrow, we shall see. We had Roast Beef Sandwiches for dinner and they were really good, but I was really too sick to care. Anyway I hope I will be feeling better.

Thursday June 26, 2003: Day 7. Last Day of our vacation, good thing too. I am a little sick from being exposed to the sun. I think I am suffering from sun stroke. We packed everything up and said our goodbyes and we were on our way. We stopped for lunch at Panda Express, but like I said, I am sick and it did not taste that good. We rolled into town at about 5:00 and we stripped everything down and washed the Excursion, the boat and the Sea Doos. It was a fun trip and I really enjoyed it. For dinner we had toppers pizza and then I went to bed pretty early.

Wednesday June 25, 2003: Day 6. I woke up at around 7:30 (you cannot really sleep that much went it gets scorching hot at 8:00). We had egg sandwiched for breakfast and they were fantastic. For lunch we had hotdogs and I love hotdogs. After lunch I went out on Danny’s boat with a bunch of people from my ward. We rode the water weenie and wake boarded. It was so much fun. I was falling all over the place on the water weenie and everyone was laughing super hard. We then ran out of gas and had to have a ranger pull us in. He was a cool guy but he gave Danny a ticket because his horn was not working. We finally got it all taken care of and we went back to camp and we had Dutch oven cooking. Danny was pissed because he thought the food sucked, so we drove into town to eat at In-N-Out. We then came back into town and I went and played Mafia. It was so much fun. In fact I got to know my ward pretty good because of that. I hope this summer will be a lot better because of that.

Tuesday June 24, 2003: Day 5. I woke up with Danny and Vegor at 6:15 to help them get the boat out on the water. He had to be taking people water skiing by 6:30. I got on the working jet ski and started playing around on it. It was good times. The water was really flat and I could go super fast. I then got Nathan and we goofed around on the Jet Ski for a while. We then came back to camp for lunch. It was taco salad. I then just chilled with Nathan for a bit. Then we went down to Boulder Beach and did a little swimming. I cannot believe how low the water is. We then got showered and dressed nice and we went to watch a movie up at the Hacienda Casino. We watched holes. It was a pretty good movie. I bought this soda pop and it was nasty. Afterwards we went to Boulder City and had some pizza. It was a nice evening. It was not too hot and it was not too cold. We then went to Henderson to go to this dance. They held it at the Ocean Street Chapel. We got out groove on, it was fun. After the dance we went back to the camp and we went to bed.

Monday June 23, 2003: Day 4. We woke up this morning and went to In-N-Out and met up with Melissa, Megan and Megan. We then stopped in at Wal-Mart to get some stuff and then it was off to the lake we go. We met up with all the singles wards in Kaysville. It was cool to be around that many young single adults. We set up camp and then we went out on the wave runners. I got some serious chaffing from those wave runners on my booty. The wave runner I was on broke down in the middle of the lake and we had to flag down a boat to see if they could tow us in. It was very windy and I was ore and tired. We then came back to camp and had dinner. We had these barbeque beef sandwiches that were pretty good. We then had a get to know you activity. We had to do these skits and my group did it on modern poetry. It was pretty funny. We then just chilled for the rest of the night. Danny, Nathan, Melissa, Megan, Megan and I went into town and got some stuff at Wal-Mart. I guess the leaders were a little upset that we left. These people are treating us like we are 14 year olds at EFY.

Sunday June 22, 2003: Day 3. I woke up at 10:00 so I could get ready for church. We all went up to the Ocean Street Chapel and it was High Counsel Sunday. After church we went to Jennifer and Justin’s place to eat dinner. We had this chili that was unlike any chili I have ever had but it was so good. I loved it. Nathan and I then left and met up with the others at the hotel room. We then went to this Sushi place in Henderson and no one really liked the Sushi. The people at the restaurant started to get mad because we did not eat all of the sushi. Afterwards we then came back to the hotel room. I was very, very tired so I went to bed.

Saturday June 21, 2003: Day 2 of out fantastic Vacation. We woke up at around 9:00 and we loaded everything up and then went to In-N-Out at about 11:00. We then went to Lake Mead and launched the boat and the two jet skis. They are so much fun. The water was warm and it was good times. I got a ticket because I was jumping the wakes behind Danny’s boat. It is a $90 ticket but I guess you live and learn. After we spent all that time at the lake we came back to the harbor and loaded everything up. On the way home I thought we were going to die. Danny got no sleep the night before (none!) and he just spent the whole day at the lake and now he was driving us back to the Strip. He looked very tired and Camille and I did our best to male sure he stayed awake. He almost crashed into one of those big barrels on the freeway. The lane was ending and Danny did not realize it until it was almost too late. There was this car that would not let Danny over, so Danny moved over anyways. That driver was pretty ticked. We did make it home safely and we all showered and changed and met up with Kjell, Sara and Nathan at Outback on the strip. It was some good eats. Afterwards we just hung out and talked for a long time. I then left with Nathan to stay the night at our house in Henderson. When we got home, my mom woke up and we just started talking for a long time. My Dad then got up and we all just chatted until 5:00 am. It was fun times.

Friday June 20, 2003: Well today is Friday and the beginning of our week vacation is Las Vegas. We just needed to get through one more day of work first. For lunch we went to this place called “My Brothers Barbeque”. It was pretty good. After work we loaded up the Excursion, the boat and the two jet skis and we were on our way. The Excursion was huge so Brian and I had plenty of room in the back seat. We were towing such a long load. The two trailers made it difficult for Danny to drive sometimes. For dinner we stopped in at In-N-Out. We finally rolled into Las Vegas at about 12:30 am and checked into our room at the at Treasure Island on the strip. When we got there we met up with Brooke and her friend Camille. It was great to see her again. Her friend Camille is very cool. We also met up with Laura (Brian’s girlfriend) and her friend Dana. We stayed up goofing off and what not. We went to Dennys and I got a hamburger. We then went back to the casino to watch Danny and Vegor gamble a little. We went to bed at about 4:30am.

Thursday June 19, 2003:Almost there! One more day until the weekend and then it is off to Las Vegas and Lake Mead. I am so stoked and I cannot wait. Today Vegor and I went to this place called Lupes for lunch. It is this small Mexican restaurant that reminds me of my Grandma Warner’s old house. It was some good eats, but not a lot of food. After work I went to go get my haircut while Vegor, Chris and Danny went to Quiznos (lucky punks). I then met up with them at the Janss Mall Theater and we got to watch a sneak preview of one of Jack Black’s new movies. It is called The School of Rock and it is really funny. It is not scheduled to come out until October, so I am one of the few chosen to see this film early and give my opinion to the studio before it comes out. Like I said, it was very funny; Jack Black is one of the funniest people I have seen on the screen. After that we just came home and I did some laundry to prepare for the upcoming week. Later dudes.

Wednesday June 18, 2003:Well, the week is half way over. At work for lunch, Vegor and I went to Carls Jr. and I got a Double Bacon Cheeseburger. I forgot how good those things are. It is like there is a party in your mouth and everyone is invited. After work Vegor and I did not go to the gym. Instead we met with Danny at this place called Jacks which was a pretty old looking place, but it was really good. I got this tuna melt sandwich and it really smelled but it tasted great. We then went to the mall so Danny could buy some shorts. We met Brian while we were there and all four of us went to the outlet stores in Camarillo with the intent to go to the Adidas outlet store. But when we got there, they were closed. (I am beginning to see why Kobe Bryant left Adidas; they cannot even keep their stores open). So we went to the Nike Outlet down the road. Vegor, Danny and I got these sweet shoes that you can go running in or use in water (they will be perfect for Lake Mead). We then stopped at In-N-Out and we got some shakes. We then went to this house up on Kanan road and they had the sweetest backyard I have ever seen. They had tennis courts, basketball court, grass courtyard, pool, hot tub and two waterslides. The only house that had a backyard that came close was the Jones’ house in Orem. The pool was chlorine free and was purified by this salt water system (it was awesome). They also had some cool dogs that would jump in the pool. The Aquabats were right, dogs are way sweet!

Tuesday June 17, 2003:We inch closer and closer to Lake Mead with each passing day. Today Mike went and worked at the other office so it was just Vegor and I here in the Agoura office. I constructed my failsafe schedule for UVSC in case I do not get into BYU’s business school. For lunch we went to this Thai place and had some Pad Thai noodles. They were pretty good. After work we were suppose to go to the gym. However, I played the devils advocate and introduced the idea of going out to eat instead. We soon found ourselves sitting at Macaroni Grill eating a bowl of Pasta Milano. That is some fantastic eats let me tell ya. After we ate we went to Barns and Noble. I got bored really quickly because everyone knows that I hate to read. We then came home and I went back out and shot around at the park by Thousand Oaks High School. I am horrible right now. I need to get my shot back and quick. But that was pretty much it.

Monday June 16, 2003:Well, another Monday is over. As usual, I had a hard time getting up this morning. Work was work again, pretty uneventful. I went to Quiznos with Mike and Vegor and I had this low fat sandwich, it was great. After work we went to the gym and I worked out so much I felt sick. After the gym we came home and had this stuff that looked like lettuce soup. It was really good though. It was a chicken salad type meal. After dinner, I tried to set up the DeBeikes’ home network but had no luck. We then watched some Seinfeld and that was pretty much it.

Sunday June 15, 2003: Happy Father’s Day! Well today we celebrated father’s day by going out to Ventura and visiting Grandpa Jim (Danny’s Maternal Grandpa). He has these sweet boats and a dock in his back yard. He has a sail boat and a sea boat. We went and played on his dingy (small inflated boat with a motor). We had Chris, Danny, Vegor and I on it and I though it was going to sink. We found Kirsten, Mike, Shannon, Brooke, Grandpa Jim, and his friend in the harbor. As I saw his huge boat pass by, I decided that I want a boat sometime in my life. We then came back to shore and just hung around for a while at his grandpa’s house and watched a little of the US Open on TV . We then came home and just chilled. We had left-overs for dinner (Danny and I has Spaghetti, it was good). That was pretty much it other than some King of the Hill and Malcolm in the Middle and Justin calling everyone a Tubar Bager

Saturday June 14, 2003:What a day! We woke up early this morning (and when I say early I mean 9:00am) and piled into three vehicles and went to this paint ball place. It was Austin’s birthday party and he had a bunch of his friends come. We went to this place up in Simi Valley and it was really fun. I really enjoyed poppin a cap in those 10 year old boys. I did not get hit too many times, but this one time Danny was on my team and he was behind be. His gut must have miss fired because he hit me square in the back from 8 feet away. It hurt soooo bad! I was very ticked, but it was funny to laugh at a little after that. After the paint ball, we went to Tommy’s and had some fantastic Chili Burgers and Chili fries. We then came back to the house and loaded up the two jet skis and Dan loaded up his boat and we went to Oxnard to do some fun water sporting. The weather was beautiful and it was so fun. I cannot believe how fast those Jet Skis go. When I was on with Danny he was cruising super fast and we were jumping all over the place. I was a little scared, not of falling off, but of getting wet (the ocean was cold). I then went on Dan’s boat with him. It was good times. We then loaded up the boats and went to this place called Andrea’s. It is this place like The Neptune’s Net but cleaner, cheaper and better. I got some Calamari and some Fish and Chips. We then came home and rinsed off the jet skis so that the salt water would not ruin them. We then went to Danny’s old apartments hot tub and soaked for a while. It was a great day. Props to Dan for funding this wonderful day of adventure. In the words of my friend Vegor, “I am sure I have had more fun, but I do not remember when.”

Friday June 13, 2003:Well, today is Friday and that means it is payday (hurray!). So for lunch Mike, Vegor and I went up to Woodland Hills to pick up our checks and then go to lunch at the Chinese Restaurant that we always go to. After work Vegor and I went to the gym in Simi and met up with Danny. We are really starting to see results of going to the gym everyday. After the gym we came home and had some fantastic Bar-B-Que. They were throwing a Bar-B-Que for Shannon because she graduated. After the Bar-B-Que we did not do too much because we were so dang tired. That is about it.

Thursday June 12, 2003:Today I was pretty sore waking up. Not much happened today. For lunch, Vegor and I went to Ciscos, a Mexican restaurant and I got a tostada, it was ok. After work we went to the gym but Danny did not come because it was Shannon’s graduation. I just played some basketball and ran for a bit. After the gym we came home and the house was empty, it was kind of cool. We watched some Bernie Mac, Simpsons, and Seinfeld. Then Danny came back from the graduation and Danny, Vegor and I went to BJ’s for dinner. The place was really cool. It reminded me of some of the places to eat in Downtown Denver. I got a grilled turkey sandwich. After dinner we came home and just chilled.

Wednesday June 11, 2003:Well, the week is half over and the weekend is that much closer to being here. Vegor is feeling better and so he was able to join us at work today. Work was work. For lunch the three of us went to Red Robin with Chris and Dan. I got the California Chicken Burger and it was fantastic, I recommend it to all. It was really nice because Dan picked up the check. After work we went to the gym. The traffic was really bad on the 23 so we got off on Janss and took Moorpark over to the gym. I think that took longer than normal. I had a good workout at the gym today and I am starting to see some results to my hard work. After the gym we came home and had some spaghetti, it was really good. After dinner I drove to Oxnard to look at some used cars at the Vista Ford. My salesman (Mike) was a really cool guy. I found this really nice used 2002 Ford Focus for 12,000. I almost got it but my payments would have been out the roof. So I had to say no. I then came home and watched the tail end of two Law and Order episodes. That was pretty much it.

Tuesday June 10, 2003:Today Vegor was sick so he did not come into the office so Mike and I were solo today. We spent the majority of the morning getting faxes set up to go out. We finished right after lunch with 161 faxes to be sent out. For lunch Mike and I went to In-N-Out for Austin’s birthday. Austin, Justin, Margie and Kirsten were among the attendees. After lunch we finished the faxes and we were waiting for the new Ex Mods to get posted. So to kill some time, mike and I started to play some online casino games (not with real money of course, with fake money). Just then Dan walked into the office. He told us not to be goofing off and that we need to be working. Just my luck, I work my tail off for 95% of the time and the one time I take a break because there is nothing to do, my boss catches me. Anyway, we then made some call backs and what not. After work I met Danny at the Simi gym. I really like this gym. I went and played basketball after doing some lower body stuff and I was hurting. Not only that but I was playing horrible because I had no lower body strength. After the gym we had some rice with this chicken and pea Alfredo type stuff. It was really good. We then celebrated Austin’s Birthday. That was pretty much it.

Monday June 9, 2003Today it was very hard to get up, uuugh! Work was work. We were able to set four solid appointments today. For lunch, Mike, Vegor and I went to Quiznos. It was good times. After work we went to the Simi Valley gym and I decided that I am not going to go to the ghetto gym any more. After the gym we came home and had some sweet and sour meatballs and rice. It was good but I ate too much. If I want tot loose weight, I need to stop eating so much. After dinner, I went to the Oaks Mall and bought me some new swimming trunks and two new T-shirts. That is pretty much it for today, I am going to go to bed early because I am so tired.

Sunday June 8, 2003:It is Sunday and we woke up and got ready for church. When we rolled into the church parking lot, there were no cars except for a truck unloading some chairs. It then hit us, it was stake conference and we totally missed it. So we came back home. When we got home no one was there except for Brooke and Nathan. We found out that everyone else went to Wood Ranch in Simi Valley to look at some houses. There were some pretty sweet ones. They were looking at model homes and some lots. I really liked those houses. Afterwards we came home and I took a much needed nap. We then had dinner. We had sausage and potatoes. I really liked them, but some people did not like the potatoes. After dinner we just sat around and did nothing really. Danny and I took some garbage to the dumpster behind Vons, but that was about it.

Saturday June 7, 2003:Today I slept in until about 10. We had pancakes for breakfast and then Chris and I went to go look at some cars at Nissan. I found this really nice Altima but it was a little too pricy for me. I think I am just going to hold onto my car for a while. We then came home for a bit and then I drove around looking for all the parks in the neighborhood to see if there is a basketball court with lights. I found one over by the Thousand Oaks High School. Afterward I went to In-N-Out and had myself a double double. We then waited for Danny and Vegor to come back from their Porsche show/race. Vegor, Danny and I then went to Macaroni Grill and I got the Pasta Milan. I think that is my new favorite. After we ate we went to Danny’s old apartment and went swimming. We then went to the 24 hour fitness in Simi Valley. It is a much better gym and I think it is worth the extra time to go there instead of going to the ghetto one we go to now. That was about it for me.

Friday June 6, 2003:I am ready for the weekend. Today we had work and then for lunch we went with Chris to this place called Baja Fresh and had some fantastic lunch. We were off at 3 and we went to the gym. After the gym I came home and took a nap. Then Chris, Shannon, Vegor and I went and met up with Danny to eat dinner at Wood Ranch Grill. I had some Tri tip and some ribs, it was great. We then went to watch 2 Fast 2 Furious. I can honestly say that it was the stupidest movie I have seen in a long time. Even Chairman of the Board Starring Carrot Top was better than this film. After the movie was we went home and made fun of it for quite some time. If there is anything that any of you get out of reading this, remember this; DO NOT WATCH 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS, it is sooooooooo dumb.

Thursday June 5, 2003:I cannot believe it is Thursday already. Lately the weather has been a bit gloomy. Sometimes it has been clearing up in the afternoons and sometimes it has not. Today Mike, Vegor and I went to Quiznos for lunch. I hat this spicy something or other sandwich and it was goo-ood. After work Vegor and I met Danny at the McDonalds on Malibu Canyon so we could ride together to the Los Angeles Temple. Before we took off we stopped at Jack In The Box and I got a Sourdough Jack Burger. It was pretty good. The temple was a pretty cool experience. While we were there we saw Mark Madsen who plays for the LA Lakers. He is a bit taller than me (I think I can take him). We did sealings while at the temple. Danny got separated from us so he could sealings in Spanish. After the temple we went to the Earth, Wind and Flour to have some pizza with our ward. It was good times.

Wednesday June 4, 2003:Today Mike and Kirsten came into our office to learn a little more about how to make calls and set appointments. Mike actually set an appointment on only his second day. He is catching on very quickly. For lunch today, Vegor and I went to Subway and I had the Spicy Italian. It was good, but pretty spicy (my stomach was not too thrilled). After lunch, Vegor went to the Woodland hills office so Mike, Kirsten and I could use the three phones at the Agoura office to set appointments. After work I went to the gym to meet up with Danny and Vegor, only they did not show up (oh well). After the gym, I went and got my hair cut at Supercuts. I had the sides cut, but no hair off the top taken off. I then came home and we had some ham and potato salad for dinner. It was great. I then went to Mervyns with Chris and bought this cool Hawaiian shirt and some kaki shorts. Chris and I then went over to his Aunt Missy’s place so I could fix her computer. Her wireless network was down and I took a look at it. It looked like the broadcaster was broken and needs to be fixed. We then went home and Vegor, Danny, Mike, Kirsten, Dan, and Margie we talking to Chris on what he needs to do with his life. Poor guy is having everyone else tell him what he needs to do, must be confusing.

Tuesday June 3, 2003:Today it was difficult to get up, but how is that different from any other day. Work was same-o, same-o. For lunch I went with Vegor to the bank so he could get some money orders and then we went and put some gas in the Mazda. Mike came into the office today and we showed his a little of what we do. It will be great to have someone help call. After work we went to the gym. We did not work out for too long because we were anxious to get back home and eat some of Margie’s famous tacos. They are so good. Margie’s dad (Jim), his girlfriend and his brother in-law came to eat dinner with us as well. It was Jims birthday and so we sang happy birthday to him. After dinner Vegor, Danny, Chris, Shannon and I went to watch Finding Nemo. It was a cute movie, but I would not pay money to go watch it again. After that we just cleaned our room. Yesterday Chris told us that he is going to move back to Colorado for the summer (typical Chris shenanigans), and tonight Chris’ dad told him that he is not going to move. Poor Chris is going to be stuck with us for a while.

Monday June 2, 2003:Monday, Monday…nah nah, nah nah nah nah. I don’t like Mondays. Not a lot happened today. We went to work and we ate our sack lunches. After work we went to the gym. Danny and I are trying to motivate each other to shed a few pounds and gain some muscle mass in our Biceps, Triceps and Chest (we shall see if it really happens since Danny and I both lack weight training discipline). After the gym we went back to the DeBeikes house and had some fantastic chicken for dinner. After dinner we just sat around really. I went to Best Buy with Danny and Sean so I could look at some Mini Disc Players. I then went to Target to look at some down comforters, but they only had puny ones. So I bout a case of slim fast and I was on my way. That was about it, like I said, pretty uneventful.

Sunday June 1, 2003This morning we woke up and went to the Mandalay Bay Breakfast Buffet. It was some pretty good eats. We then went and checked out of the room and headed home. We stopped in Barstow and ate at this huge IN-N-Out. It was the biggest one I have ever seen. Vegor called it the In-N-Out cafeteria. Danny and I put the top down for a little while on the way back. It was really hot outside, but it was still fun. However, after a while the heat was just killing us and we were so tired. We decided to put the top back up and it was so much better. We rolled into Thousand Oaks around 6:30 and we then came home and chilled with the DeBeikes. Props to Dan for getting us the hook ups for the awesome accommodations he provided us with this weekend. It was a Fantastic weekend, one that will be remembered for all eternity.

Saturday May 31, 2003We slept until 11:30 and then we went back down to the Raffles Café to have some lunch. I got some chicken pasta stuff, it was good. After lunch we went to the pool. Mandalay Bay’s pool is so awesome. We hung out there and worked on our tan while sipping on some smoothies. I am telling you, this was paradise. We then went tot the United Artists Theater on The Strip and watched the Italian Job. It was a good movie with some really cool Mini Coopers. After the movie we went out to Las Vegas and hung out with the family for a while. It was good times. We then picked up my brother Nathan and headed back to The Strip. We then went to dinner at the Rio Buffet. It was ok, but not nearly as good as it used to be. We then came home and just chilled and walked around the south end of The Strip (mainly between the Luxor and Mandalay Bay). Vegor and Chris then started watching Gangs of New York and I forgot how boring I thought the movie was so I left with Danny and walked around again.

Friday May 30, 2003Today we went up to Woodland Hills and had lunch with Danny and Chris at the China Bistro. We then went and deposited our checks. Today was a good day at work because I was able to work on the computers in this office all day and Dan let us off at 3:00 again today (I am telling you, he is the coolest boss). After work we came home and got ready to go on our trip to Las Vegas. We loaded up Danny’s Boxster and Chris’ Z3 and we headed for Sin City. I rode with Danny and we had the top down the entire time (it was great). On the way there, Danny put in a full tank of gas but his gas gauge did not move. This caused Danny to worry that something was wrong with his Porsche, but it is all under warranty so he did not fret about it too much. When we got to Las Vegas we valet parked at the Mandalay Bay and we checked into our penthouse suite. It was an awesome room with an awesome view (the picture to the left is from our suite). We then showered and went down stairs to eat at the Raffels Café (all food at the Mandalay Bay was comped). I got the Prime rib and it was fantastic. I then got a little sick afterwards. Chris said it was probably because I hat a hunk of beef at 12:30 in the morning, he is probably right. Danny and I then just goofed off in Las Vegas and drove around while Vegor and Chris went to bed. Danny and I did not get home until 4:30 in the morning.

Thursday May 29, 2003:We had to wake up at the crack of dawn today so that Vegor could register his Porsche 914 at the local California Division of Motor Vehicles. When we arrived to the DMV at 8:00am, there was already a line out the door. So I dropped Vegor off to get in line while I went and parked. I then listened to this story about SARS on the NPR radio. When I went to meet up with Vegor again, there were about 12 people who had filed in line behind him. I just walked ahead of all of them and stood next to Vegor. It was early and neither Vegor nor I am in the mood for much talking that early in the morning so we just stood next to each other. I guess that the people behind Vegor thought I was cutting in line, so this old man hit me in the forearm and said, “Hey Buddy, the line starts back there”, all while carrying a mean look on his tanned but wrinkled face. I followed up with the comment, “Oh, I am not getting anything; I am just waiting in line here with my buddy.” This did not seem to please the old man as he continued to scowl at me. It was then about another hour before we got out of there (fun times at the DMV). Work was work. For lunch, Vegor and I made the trek to Camarillo to drop off a check at my US bank account. We then ate some fantastic In-N-Out. After work, we had shish kabobs for dinner. They were fantastic as well. After dinner we went to Danny’s old apartment and did some night swimming (but not the REM kind). That was about it today. Danny informed us that we might be able to go to Las Vegas this weekend and stay at the Venetian for free. I am pretty stoked about that. So hopefully it will still go through.

Wednesday May 28, 2003:This week is really beginning to fly by. Today for lunch, Vegor and I made our weekly El Pollo Loco pilgrimage. It was some fantastic eats. We then went to go buy a lottery ticket, but the machine was broken. So instead we bought one of the scratch and play lottery games. I played this LA Lakers NBA scratch card. However, I lost (Figures, playing with the Lakers). After work I went to go pick my car up from the mechanic. It is running so sweet right now, but the mechanic said I still need some work to be done to it. I need a new radiator and new brakes. I also need new hoses, belts and a thermostat gasket. It needs some work, but it will be fine for right now. I then went to the gym and met up with Vegor and Danny. We were pleased to hear that Danny finalized the paperwork on his brand New Porsche Boxster. He was a little scared that he was going to be unable to keep it. We then came home and had some fantastic Spaghetti, it was really good. I then went to the Porsche Dealership with Danny so he could drop off his service records and then we went to Target so I could get some gel and deodorant. We then came home and watched some good Law and Order. It was good times.

Tuesday May 27, 2003:Today is not a Monday but it sure feels like it. I went to bed pretty early last night because I was so tired from all of the excitement that happened over the weekend. Work was work and for lunch Vegor and I went to Chipotle with Danny and Chris. On the way there a Mustang almost hit Danny’s Porsche and he was still fuming when we met up with him. After work we went to the gym while Danny tried to get his lease for the Boxster all situated. We then came home and had some of Margie’s Fantastic enchiladas. They were so great. After dinner, Danny and I went to the mall so I could buy some new shirts and a new hat. That was pretty much it for me today.

Monday May 26, 2003:Tis the season to buy cars I guess. This morning Danny was waxing and detailing his Porsche Carrera 4 that he has had for 4 months now. After he was done cleaning it we went and looked at motorcycles. Danny and I almost bought these sweet crotch rockets, but Honda Financing was closed. Dan and Margie were looking at Jet Skis as well. We left feeling empty handed so Danny, Chris, Sean and I went to Rusnack Porsche and Danny started looking at these newer Porsches. I was day dreaming, wishing I could buy this convertible Audi A4 and what not. Danny kept hopping form car to car to try to get his monthly payments under a thousand. So Chris and I left and got an ice cream cone at the Janss Mall. We then went to the single ward activity. It was this Bar-B-Que at this park. It was pretty fun but Chris and I took off after a while and went to buy Vegor some oil. We then went looking fo Danny and then we saw it; Danny had got himself a sweet Porsche Boxter. It is this sweet blue with a grey interior. I could not believe how nice it looks. He let me and Chris drive it for a while. It is super duper nice. I cannot put into words how sweet it is. What a perfect way to end the weekend of new automobiles. It was fun times.

Sunday May 25, 2003:Well, this morning Vegor bought himself a new car. He got the Porche 914 and it is pretty sweet. It has some work to be done, but it was a good buy I think. It is a maroon color and like all 914’s, it is a convertible (so that is real nice). We then went to church and after church we came home and said goodbye to Kjell and Sara. They headed back to Riverside to spend some time. Danny, Chris and I then made Sunday dinner for the family. We made chicken, rice, vegetables and bread. It was pretty good. We then sat around and watched TV and played Mad Gab. I think I am going to go to bed early because I am tired.

Saturday May 24, 2003:I slept on the living room floor because Kjell and Sara stayed the night. Call me old fashioned but I just did not want to share a bedroom with a married couple. I first had some of Dan’s fantastic French toast for breakfast and then I took my car to a shop to get it looked at. We all first went and looked at some Mini Coopers in L.A., they are pretty sweet cars. We then went to Tommy’s next to this brewery and had some chili burgers and Fries. We then went to Beverly Hills to do some shopping (actually I spent most of my time on the toilet, thanks to Tommy’s). After that we went to Santa Monica and Vegor, Kjell and Sara went do 3rd street while I went walking down Santa Monica Blvd to look at some Audis. We met up again at the Santa Monica Pier and then headed home. On the way home we passed this sweet 1971 Porche 914 for sale on the side of the rode on Malibu Canyon. Vegor really liked it so we stopped to take a look. Vegor called the guys and is going to take a look at it with the owner tomorrow. When we go home we found out that Chris got himself a sweet BMW Z3. It is such a sweet car and is in perfect condition. I really like it. I cannot put into words how sweet of a car it is. After all of us test drove the car with Chris we went to dinner at Macaroni Grill. I have the Pasta Milan and it was fantastic. We then went to the Hot Tub at Danny’s old apartment and then came home and watched Saturday Night Live (hosted by Salma Hayek). I found out that it is going to cost about $1,000 to fix my car. It needs new lifters for my valves and they cost about $50 a piece (I need 16 of them + labor).

Friday May 23, 2003:Boy I love Fridays! Dan let us get off at 3:00pm instead of 5:00pm so we were stoked about that. After work we went and got our paychecks and then went to the bank. We then went to Vista Ford in Woodland Hills to look at some new cars, in particular the Ford Focus. I really found this sweet black sedan that had all leather and sunroof and sweet stereo system, but it was too much. My payments would be about $350 a month (170 more than I pay now). So after all was said and done I had to pass. I was sad that I did not get a new car. After that Vegor, Chris, and Danny met up with Kjell and Sara at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I went and looked at other cars to see if I could find a better deal. I didn’t and I had dinner at In-N-Out. I then met Danny, Chris, Vegor, Kjell and Sara at the theater and we watched Bruce Almighty. I thought it was pretty funny. It was good times.

Thursday may 22, 2003:Today I was not feeling well again. This morning we went to work and it was very bad day for calling. It seemed as if everyone was being mean to me. Dan had Vegor design some business cards and they are starting to look pretty nice. For lunch Danny convinced us to go out to a Chinese place. I had curry chicken and it was pretty good. After work we went to Vista Ford to look at some Focus’. It was very hot. The salesman at the dealership tried selling us a car, but we were just looking. Actually, the truth is that the DeBeikes’ have been dealing with the same car salesman for their last 5 car purchases and we wanted to deal with him. It was his day off, so we had to tell this guy we will think about it (we are probably going to go there tomorrow). My car has been acting funny. It will not go into 1st, 2nd or reverse really easily. It is starting to tick me off. If I can get this car off my hands before it breaks, I will be happy. I left my car at the Woodland Hills office so it will not break any further on me before I attempt to trade it in tomorrow. After the dealership, we came home and ate some BBQ ribs, Rotisserie Chicken and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. They were really good. I then just watched some TV for the rest of the night while Danny and Chris went bowling. I watched CSI Miami and then the OG CSI. They were pretty good ones. That is about it for me.

Wednesday May 21, 2003:Well, today was pretty uneventful. I went to work and then I went to the gym. After the gym we came home and had some fantastic rice with sweet and sour meatballs. We then cleaned the kitchen and then I went to look at some cars with Danny and Chris. My car is acting kind of funny and I don’t want it to break down on me and end up owing a ton of money on a car that does not work. It is running fine right now, but there are little things that make it seem like it will not continue to work for much longer. I do not want to buy a new car, but this may be the only way I can get out of my car loan with a car that will have a warranty. I am seriously considering a Ford Focus. I looked at my payments and they would be around 236 (about 56 dollars more than I currently owe each month). We went and looked at some Mazdas, Volkswagens, and Audis. After we finished looking at cars, Danny and I watched Law and Order. It was a good one.

Tuesday May 20, 2003:Today I woke up with a sore throat. I also was not feeling too well. At work not a whole lot happened. We did however manage to get four appointments. After work we did not go to the gym because Danny and Vegor went to the Dodger game with some of the DeBeikes kids. I was still not feeling too well so I stayed home and cleaned my car. After I finished, I had dinner with Chris, Margie, Dan and Justin (we had Wendy’s, and it was great). After that I tried to get my newly purchased tivo system to work, but it would not read the satellite receiver in our room. So I ended up returning the box to Best Buy. After that I walked around the Janss Mall. The Janss mall is an outdoor mall and it was a very nice night so I just strolled around looking at different stuff. I felt like an old man, but it was still fun. After that I came home and watched MacGyver and Smallville. I forgot how cool MacGyver is; he is one of my heroes.

Monday May 19, 2003:I hate Mondays. Nothing really eventful happened today. I went to work, Vegor, Danny and I went to the gym. I vacuumed out the inside of my car and then I bought a Tivo recorder and I tried to set it up during the evening, I am still trying to get it to work, we shall see if it will work or if I will end up taking it back.

Sunday May 18, 2003: We slept in again because church does not start until 1:00pm. It was our ward conference and sacrament meeting was pretty cool. The emphasis was on missionary work. The current stake president, President Hamilton, is going to be a mission president in Belgium Netherlands. Tim Jensen, one of my boys from the dorms, is going to be in his mission. For Sunday School, the youth of the stake did some presentation with videos and what not. After church we came home and we had dinner with one of the DeBeikes’ friends, the Spikers. They were pretty cool and Margie’s Lasagna was great. At the end of the night, we watched some Simpsons and that was about it.

Saturday May 17, 2003: We were able to sleep in this morning and when we woke up went to the gym. I played a little basketball for the first time in like 4 months and I did not do too well. After the gym, we came home and helped clean the backyard at the DeBeikes. We then went to Tommy’s in Simi Valley and it was really good. Too bad that chili cheese burger and chili cheese fries probably made all of my visits to the gym this past week in vain, but it was worth it. We then went to watch the Matrix Reloaded again. I made so much more sense the second time around. We then went to go look at some Mini Coopers, but the dealership was closed by the time we found it. So we went to Chipotle and I got a steak burrito. We then came home and that was about it for us.

Friday May 16, 2003: Well Not a whole lot happened today. We went to work and then we were off at 4, which was nice. After work, Vegor, Danny, Chris and I went to the gym. After the gym, we went home to enjoy some of Margie’s fantastic tacos. I had about 7. Afterwards we went down to Santa Monica again to meet up with some people from our ward. It was pretty fun down there. There was this short guy down there who had his legs on backwards, it was crazy. Afterwards we just came home and I went to bed because I was too tired.

Thursday May 15, 2003:When we got into work this morning the phones were not working so we had to contact Dan to try to get them fixed. He came over after his chiropractor appointment and he got the situation taken care of. Dan then took us out to lunch, bless his heart, and we went to Red Robin. I had the California Chicken Burger and it was fantastic. After that we made some more phone calls and then at 4:30 we left to go pick up Chris at the other office and we went and watched the Matrix Reloaded. It was so flippin sweet! I loved it and cannot wait to see it again. After that we came home and I went to the gym. There was a lunar eclipse tonight and that was pretty sweet as well.

Wednesday May 14, 2003:Well, I added some pretty cool stuff the website. I added a link to some Volkswagen pics on the left. Today I was not sore from working out and work was same-o same-o. After work, we went to the gym and worked out for a bit. We then went down to the Pacific Coast Highway and went and ate at Neptune’s Net. I got some Calamari and Fish. It was pretty dang good. After that we just came home and watched some TV before we decided to go to bed. Today Kimberly Locke was voted off American Idol. I am really excited about seeing the Matrix Reloaded tomorrow. It should be some pretty fun times. I started a Slim Fast Diet today and so far it is working pretty well. Despite having some major shakes at 4:00pm due to lack of nutrition, I was not hungry.

Tuesday May 13, 2003:Today we were able to set two appointments at work. I really like calling these high experience mods. For lunch today, Vegor and I got the whole chicken meal at El Pollo Loco. It was so good; I am drooling just thinking about it. After work we went to the gym. We were not sore because it has been a while since we have worked out. After that we came home and had dinner, chicken ala king. We then watched the Lakers vs. Spurs game. The Spurs were killing the Lakers by 25 points but then the Lakers make a comeback (although I would not call it a comeback, they have been here for years) and almost won the game. A last minute buzzer beater by Horry did not go in. It was a good game none the less. After that we watched some more TV, including American Idol and CSI Miami until it was time to go to bed.

Monday May 12, 2003:I hate getting up on Mondays, this morning I was so tired. Work was pretty good. We ended up sending out 81 faxes. For lunch Vegor, Danny, Chris and I went to Quiznos, it was great. After work we went to the Westlake Chapel to carpool to go to the Dodgers vs. Braves baseball game. I ended up locking my keys in the car with the keys turned over so the radio was still on, I was ticked. We went to the game anyway and it was fantastic. We were in the left field bleachers and there were all these Mexicans yelling and what not, it was very funny. After the Dodgers got blown out by a score of 11-4, we came home. Danny called AAA to get my keys out from my car. To my suprise, my battery was not dead from my radio playing for 5 hours. After that we just came home. That is about it for me.

Sunday May 11, 2003: Happy Mothers Day! Not a lot happened today. I went to church, I called my mom. That was about it. The rest of the day was spent watching meaningless TV.

Saturday May 10, 2003: Well, we woke up this morning and Danny, Vegor, Chris and I went to this place called Harolds to eat some fantastic omelets. They were grrrrrrreat! After that we picked up Sean, Austin, and Nathan and went to Zuma Beach. It was fun times. The water was way cold, but we got use to it after a while. Danny and I went boogie boarding way out in the ocean and the lifeguards got a little worried about us so they told us to come back in, so we did by catching this awesome wave. It was the beast wave I have ever ridden. After a while we just came home and I took a nap. I then went with Chris, Austin and Nathan to get a haircut. For dinner we had Tuna, Halibut, and Shrimp. It was good eats definitely. Nothing else really happened after that.

Friday May 9, 2003: Woo hoo, it is Friday…Payday. Today we got paid and I had to spend most of it to payoff Danny and Vegor for loaning me some money for the startup costs for 24 hour fitness. After work we went to go pick up Danny’s Porsche and then we went to LA and went to the Getty Museum. It is this pretty cool place at the top of a huge hill with an awesome view of LA and Santa Monica. On the way to the Getty some guy in a big black truck (no, not Montell Jordan) almost hit Danny on the freeway, so Danny honked his horn at the dude. The guy then put his truck into park to try to tick Danny off, but Danny just started laughing at the guy and said, “Fine!” and then he put his arms behind his head and leaned back in his seat. This really ticked the guy off and he eventually started to move. He moved over a lane and we pulled up next to him and he flipped us off. We all then started laughing at him and he got even more upset. So this guy did what any man would do in this situation, he pointed his finger at us like a gun and started to shoot us with his finger. We were rolling at this point. This guy then was just really frusterated and started swerving into our lane to try and hit us but didn’t do so. It was quite a hilarious adventure to say the least. After dinner, we went to IN-N-Out by UCLA and we then went to Santa Monica to watch some performers play. After that we called it a night and came home. Chris came home late that night and it was good to see him again.

Thursday May 8, 2003:Well we did not go to the gym today (we were way too sore). Instead we did something more healthy…we went out to dinner. We went to this Mexican place called Ciscos and boy oh boy was it good. Yesterday after work we had to go up to the other office to go pick up Danny because he is dropping his Porsche off to get some work done to it. We had to drop some payroll off at UPS and we had to get there before they closed, so I had to drive like a bat out of..well, you know. We made it in time with 10 minutes to spare. After dinner we went and looked at some Porches and Audis. They are pretty sweet cars. We then went to Best Buy so Danny could buy the Matrix. We then came home and watched it up in Danny’s room. That movie is so sweet and I cannot wait until the sequel comes out this coming Thursday. Chris (AKA Racer X) is coming down to live with us tomorrow. It will be sweet hanging out with him once he gets here.

Wednesday May 7, 2003:Well here I am again. This morning I was sore again from working out. I think it will only be a matter of time before I can wake up without every muscle of my body aching. Today was a good day at the office. We got 4 appointments set up for Dan and Danny. After work we went to the gym and worked out for a bit. We then went home for dinner and spaghetti (leftovers, but still fantastic) and pizza from my favorite place, Papa Johns. After dinner Vegor, Danny, Sean, Justin and I went over to the DeBeikes aunt’s house to help them move a huge computer credenza. It weighed a ton, but we got I moved. After that we just sat around and watched the game 2 of the Lakers vs. Spurs game (Spurs killed the Lakers), American Idol, Bernie Mac, and Law and Order. I did some home work and then I went to bed. It was a pretty uneventful day, but it was still a great day.

Tuesday May 6, 2003:Well I did not want to get up this morning, boy was I tired. I think it had something to do with me working out at the gym until I was ready to collapse yesterday. Today was a pretty uneventful day. I went to work, I went to the gym, I ate dinner, I went to the mall with Danny, Vegor and Sean (Danny’s brother) and then I did some homework, and watched a little TV. One eventful incident happened at dinner. Nathan (Danny’s younger brother) who is about 8 was sitting at the dinner table eating with the rest of us. Vegor and I noticed that Nathan was scooping up his chicken and putting it under the table on his lap. So Vegor and I called him on it and he started freaking out. Sean then started looking for a napkin on the floor or anything to prove that Nathan was trying to discard his food he was supposed to be eating. Sean could not find anything, so he took one of Nathan’s socks and put a piece of chicken in it to frame Nathan. It was quite hilarious. Nathan then started to cry and act abnormally defensive. Finally he left the dinner table and Margie was clearing the table and dumped out Nathan’s milk in the sink and it had tons of chicken in it. Nathan had been putting the chicken in his mouth, putting the glass of milk up to his lips to look like he was drinking it and in the process spit chicken chunks into his milk. I was quite amused at Nathan’s resourcefulness to discard his dinner so he would not have to eat it.

Monday May 5, 2003:Today Vegor and I got memberships at 24 hour fitness so we could work out with Danny. We got a really good deal on the membership because we are adding onto the DeBeikes membership so it only costs us 15 dollars a month. Danny and I then stayed and worked out but Vegor decided to go home early because he was unable to get much sleep last night. It has been a while since I have worked out and I really felt how outta shape I am. After the gym we went to the DeBeikes’ house to have dinner (Spaghetti) and it was fantastic. During dinner I was standing over the pot of noodles and I said to every one, “These noodles are, hot hot, hot!” However, I spit and drooled into the pot of noodles when I said this. I was so embarrassed and everyone was laughing. After dinner we watched the Lakers vs. Spurs game (Spurs won) and then we watched some stupid reality show about a girl who has to pick from a bunch of fags wearing rubber masks. Then we watched CSI Miami. It was good, but not as good as the ones in Vegas. Well that was about it.

Sunday May 4, 2003:Sorry about the lack of updates but I have been kind of busy. A lot has changed since I last updated. I have left the beehive state of Utah and have transplanted to the beautiful land of California (and when I say beautiful, I mean absolutely beautiful). Vegor and I are working for Danny DeBeikes’ dad’s insurance office. They are also letting us stay at their place for $300 dollars a month (which includes Margie’s fantastic home cooking). The DeBeikes are a great family and I feel really comfortable around them, they are good people. The last week a school was a little hectic for me. I had the stress of dealing with finals, doing check outs for the people in the dorms and moving. It was insane. I also got my grades back for BYU for this last semester. I did the worst I have ever done in college. I got an A in both Student Development and Political Science. I got an A- in Management Communications, a B- in History 202 and a C+ in Accounting 210 (that was a very hard class). I am currently taking two criminal justice classes at UVSC by way of the internet, which are pretty cool so far. But I don’t wanna think too much about school right now, I just wanna think about this lovely California weather. I will strive to keep you posted as more things happen this summer. Hasta!

Saturday March 22, 2003:Today I slept in until I did not have anymore sleep left in me. I woke up around 2pm, it was great. Before long I found myself over at my old roommate’s apartment and we played a lot of Halo. I am getting pretty addicted to this game and I usually do not enjoy playing video games. I guess that thought of running around and shooting my friends with rocket launchers, needlers, shotguns, sniper rifles, and machine guns is exciting for me. After I was destroyed many times over, we went into the parking lot and played a little four-square. It was a ton of fun. We then went to Fuddruckers and had some of their wonderful hamburgers. I of course stuffed myself. After all of this we went to a party at extreme sports. I went with my pal Chris Debeikes (brother of Danny Debeikes). It was good times and while I am the poster child for why white people cannot dance, it was good to listen to some pumpin jams!

Friday March 21, 2003:I have been slacking a little lately and the only excuse I choose give at this time for such behavior is, “I don’t care!” Yes I have fallen into a complete sense of apathy towards school and many other secular endeavors. As you can probably tell, it is towards the end of another school year and summer is rapidly approaching. I often tell myself to hang in thee and stick it out. However, I am beginning to stop listening to myself. Today I got a 40% on an accounting quiz and I did not understand hardly any of the reading material that was associated with it. I might as well have been reading Greek. I also got a ticket from one of Provo’s finest. What I find amazing is that I was ticketed for going 38 MPH in a 25 MPH zone. The amazing thing about receiving this ticket is that I was riding my scooter. My scooter does not go 38 MPH unless I am going down-hill with the wind at my back and holding rocket boosters. I am tempted to go to court over this matter, but it is the word of one of the Provo’s finest against the word of a nobody such as me. Therefore, I am considering just going to traffic school and putting this whole mess behind me. I also got ticketed for having a broken taillight and not having a motorcycle license. I was in shock that I was required to have a motorcycle endorsement on my drivers license to drive a scooter that had less horsepower than that of a weed-eater. To top things off, I had to work in the office tonight. Working is generally not that bad, but when you have had a day like I have, all you want to do is just end it by going to bed. Consequently, these events made this day possibly the worst day of this school year so far. I pray that I will not encounter another day like this one for a while.

Sunday January 5, 2003:Not a lot is happening around here in Provo since school does not start until the 6th of January. Jared, the RA from downstairs, did come back from Preston, Idaho so at least I have someone to hang put with instead of sitting around in my dorm room all day. I also went to go see the movie “Catch me if you can” with Marco. It was a pretty good movie, I liked it. That is the only movie I have seen since the last update. Jared and I have been upset with the Cannon center (the place we go and eat) because they are hardly open. Of course when we are hungry, we go down there to eat and they are closed. So we have been forced to actually spend money to eat food! Can you believe that? What a cruel cruel world. Yesterday Jared, Allison (Jared’s sister) and I went to the Salt Lake City Temple to do Baptisms for the dead. It was pretty cool. We then grabbed a bite to eat at the mall across the street. Jared and I then went to our friend Hadley Hunter’s house. She lives in the dorms but is from Salt Lake City so we visited her homestead. Jared and I then went to a club in downtown Salt Lake called Club Splash. It was a pretty cool place but we soon realized that we were not interested in the kinds of girls that were there. So we took off back for Provo. Did not get back until late.

Wednesday January 1, 2003: Happy New Year!! Well last night I didn’t do too much. The Vegor and I went to Tucanoes restaurant in the Riverwoods. Tucanoes is this Brazilian resturant that serves various "hunks of beef" and what not. It is a really cool place, I recommend it to everyone. One of the things they serve is pineapple. Now to all you novices, here is the trick; get this pineapple and eat it on top of your steak that you get. Not since the union of peanut butter and chocolate have has there been a better combination. It truly is two great tastes that taste great together. After that I just came home and watched the Devils Advocate on TV. Let me tell you something; that is one wacked out movie. It will never cease to amaze me on how the heck does Keanu Reeves still get work. The only role I am convinced he did "ok" in was Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure. I believe he only did well in this movie because it took no skill for him to act like a complete moron. Today I slept until about 3 o’clock and then I went to Carls Jr with the Vegor and had some fantastic chili cheese fries. We then came back to his apartment and played some Dr. Mario. After that I headed back to the dorms, got changed, then I went and played some basketball up at Timpanogos High School. Boy am I outta shape. We played until my legs, stomach and head hurt (I guess that is a sign of me getting old). Well I better get going. Let me leave you in the words of my beloved friend Keanu Reeves "Ted Theodore Logan" Party on Dudes!!!!!!!
